Epiphyte; internodes 1-2 cm long, 1.5 cm diam., gray-green, semiglossy; cataphylls persisting intact; petioles deeply and bluntly sulcate; blades moderately thin, dark green and matte-subvelvety above, moderately paler and matte below; primary lateral veins sunken and concolorous above, convex and concolorous below; tertiary veins prominently flattened.
