Description: Terrestrial; internodes dark green, matte, 9 mm diam.; petioles medium green and matte, sheathed throughout; sheath free-ending, paler and semiglossy inside; blades subcoriaceous, dark green and weakly glossy above, moderately paler and semiglossy below; midrib narrowly sunken and concolorous above, narrowly raised and slightly paler below; primary lateral veins weakly raised and concolorous above, only weakly visible below.
