Locality: Ecuador, Morona Santiago, Taisha, Shuar village of Tukup, on south bank of Río Macuma, about 2 km above its junction with the Río Cangaime. Tall moist forest on nearly level plain. One-hectare forest inventory plot established by Tukup high school students in program supported by National Geographic Society "Genographic Legacy Fund". This site, about 2 km south of the Río Macuma, somewhat swampy, parts of plot indundated after heavy rains.

Description: Tree 8 m tall, with trunk about 9 cm DBH, below minimum diameter of tagged trees in 1-hectare plot. Calyx green with ferruginous-brown pubescence. Corolla pale yellow. Staminal column and anthers ivory-white.
