Venezuela, Territorio Federal Amazonas., Sin datos, Sin datos, Maroa-Yavita road, between Rio Guainia and Cano Pimichin. Between Maroa and airport. Bana (low Amazon caatinga), on coarse white sand.

Small tree, 3m high; stems brittle-fleshy. Leaves coriaceous, dull below. Pedicel and calyx white; petals white, with central maroon band inside from base to ±2/3 length of petal.
