Tree about 6-in dbh bending over the river. Fruit green ripening red. The fruit has a green coating that splits open to reveal two, red seeds. According to RB, the fruits are often eaten by birds, especally doves, and can be used for hunting them. The wood can be used for firewood, but it has no other uses.
