Description: Appressed-climbing vine on understory tree in primary forest, fertile ca. 6 m above ground. Petiole subterete. Lamina subcoriaceous, strongly bicolored, weakly glossy above, matte below. Midrib and primary lateral veins sunken above, convex and darker below. Tertiary veins clearly visible and darker below. Inflorescences 2 per axil. Peduncle subterete. Spathe green externally (especially below), the setae whitish, deep reddish within (especially in tube).
